A UDresser's first encounter with New York City can be rather shaky.

You step into the bustling street, with all the glee and wonder of a tiny tot on Christmas Eve.

You pause, strangely hypnotized by the bounty of flashing signage.
Suddenly there is a crazed pedestrian condemning you in foreign tongue, taxis honking with rage, a homeless man grabbing your foot....

A bit of advice? MOVE. This city will run you over if you don't run it.

Not to knock down our own 'hood, but a walk down Main Street does not adequately prepare you for these streets. That’s why I've compiled a few must-see spots, tricks 'n' tips for all of you taking a bite outta the big apple this summer.

When you aren't working your tail off interning (and making UDress oh-so-proud), why not explore what this great city has to offer? Just because it is unfamiliar doesn’t mean it’s scary- I promise.

One word: reciprocity. The more you learn to love it, the more it’ll love you back.
