It is also thought to have a soothing quality and great healing powers. Red is associated with love, danger, desire and speed and is said to raise blood pressure and make our hearts beat faster. Yellow is known to represent joy, happiness and optimism. So next time you are browsing through your closet will you choose blue for a more confident look? Maybe black to show how sophisticated you are? Or maybe even red to get those hearts beating faster?
