I admit that I am a true Starbucks addict: I brew a few cups of my favorite roasted beans every morning before I start my day and I stop by the Starbucks on Main Street for a latte many times a week. While I have tasted many of Starbucks’ offerings, I do have my tried and tested favorites (French, Italian, or Espresso roast coffee beans, Cinnamon Dolce or Caramel lattes). In September, I received an email from Starbucks notifying me of the new Starbucks Reserve line of specialty coffees. I quickly preordered a bag of the Galapagos San Cristobal variety with high expectations because of all the hype Starbucks was making about the release of the line. I was definitely not disappointed! The smooth, rich coffee has a deliciously herby undertone and is a sharp contrast to the extra bold, smoky flavors I normally drink. I highly recommend this exotic blend and I cannot wait to try the other varieties in the Reserve Line.
