Take a break from solid colored nail polish! Swirl nail art is becoming increasingly popular and trendy. This is an easy, fun way to give your nails a new look with sweet swirly designs.

You'll need:

a cup with room temp. water

3 different nail polish colors

1 clear nail polish

toothpick (or Mechanical Pencil)

Tape

1.       Pick 3 colors; make sure they're noticeably different from each other to visibly see the designs.

2.       Tape your fingers around the nail. The extra time this takes is worth it when you're done painting!

3.       Put one drop of each the 3 separate polishes in water, then swirl for a design with a toothpick (on a college budget a mechanical pencil works just fine).

4.       Transfer your work of art onto your finger by swirling your finger in the water.

5.       Wait about 5 minutes for them to dry, and then take off tape.

6.       Finish it off with a coat of clear nail polish and you have an art masterpiece on your fingertips!
